displaying the first line?

I'm a new user of (Palm) shadowplan.

Do you know if there is a way to display only the first line (or the first n lines) of an item with many words?

Thre is an option to only show the first line (and thus maximize
the number of visible iems, by reducing the amount of ach item you can
see.)
