Jeff,
What is the best way to combine to outlines in Shadow? I have two different iterations of character development sheets that I want to combine into one. I was considering just copy and paste in the Palm but am wondering if there is a better method.
Thanks,

This is one of the many questions, and is a hot hot debate in most
mobile developer circles.
ie: Depending how you cut it, there are some 6, 9 or even 15
mobile platforms around to think about right now. Monoculture is bad, but
more than a couple platforms is impossible for even Google to support, let
alone us small fry.
But browser applicatoins of course mean you need cheap or free
connectivity (which is two statements.. cheap or free, and connectivity;
in a popular dev mailiing list right now people are debating.. look at New
York City, where how many millions of poeple hop on the subway and have no
access ot cell or wifi data.. and thats New York.) We're getting there..
out in the burbs or cow patches oyu can still get cell data, but not wifi;
in major cities you can often hop on someones wifi, but thats very iffy..
open wifi is not universally legal, and cost wifi is not universally
available.
Consider -- for your ToDo application, do you need it 100%
available when you device is?
Some applications are well tied to data.. weather say; you can
wait to et it later, and it makes sense to tether it.
but your ToDo list, say?
So it is a very difficult decision, and one I'm hard debating.
A browser Shadow could have many uses (and very stiff competition
potentially) , and a native app verison for the Hot Platforms (whatever
those are.. it is impossible to see that future, with so many platforms
wrestling right now.)
This is the big problem.. most of us small fry do not have the
resources to fight many fronts at once; obviously doing it half way (lot
sof funciton on the web for when available, and minimal funciton when no
browser avail) is one way, as well.
Chosing to go thr browser only route is one way for small fry to
do it, but you're automatically cutting down to a small (how small?) a
market.. people with a lot of connectivty for the app in consideration.
