Web sites like Shadow?

Sorry to get off subject, but Shadow got me spoiled on some
features, so maybe people here might have some suggestions.

I'm also in the Android game now too. However, I'm soon moving
to an office that won't allow phones (smart or not) for security
reasons, so I'm starting to look at on-line tools I can use for
to do list / planner needs. One thing that Shadow really spoiled
me on was the multiple nestings. So far the best candidate I
found was ToodleDo, but it looks like you can only nest down one
subtask layer. If you use folders to separate at the higher
level, (Folder -> Task -> Subtask), that gives two levels. Has
anyone found any other sources that offer more nesting levels
that's available? Preferably one that can also be accessed on an
Android (I can use it out of the office).

Jeff, thanks for making sure I don't just settle for "good
enough," I know what a real quality product *should* look like!

Todoist offers unlimited nesting, but doesn't allow multiple people to access the same outline.  Also, development apparently stopped several years ago.

Checkvist looks very promising.

I'm not sure how usable either is on the small screen.

I switched to MLO (My Life Organized) when I moved to the iPhone. This one is the other way round from SP. The desktop has the power of ShadowPlan on the Palm but the mobile versions are in early stages. iPhone at v1.1, Android in test, BB just released. PPC is more mature though.

iPhone version definitely allows multiple nesting and supports all GTD attributes. Check it out at www.mylifeorganized.net

I too am using Toodledo, though mostly the Android GotToDo which serves as a handheld version of it (maybe that is what you are using as well?). As you point out, the limited nesting is a real issue for me also, as is lack of any functional tags (they can be put in, but without any real order and no sorting or filtering or other structured use of them, at least in the current versions (and changes have been slow coming since I started using it this past summer). I subscribed to the Pro version (yearly charge) in order to get subtasks.

I am quite interested if anyone has other ideas or experiences, as I haven't really replaced ShadowPlan either, to my detriment. I use Note Everything as a memo organizer, and it does have some nice features such as checklist notes, to do some of the missing features.
