The palm OS may be wounded but for those of us who depend on Shadow to
keep our lives organized and on track the discussion goes on. Since I
primed the pump with a message earlier this month this message (unless
another one beats me to it while I'm composing) marks the busiest month
on Shadow-discuss since April 2008. This follows our February low point
with only four messages. With no emails from yahoo filling our email
box we might actually have to get a life!!! Or worse yet get down to
checking off all those NA items on our Shadow GTD todo list.

I have been a Shadow Plan user for a long, long time, and I hope to be one for a long time to come... but Palm OS is dead. If Shadow Plan is to survive, it needs to make the jump to Android. The folks who publish SplashID found a solution to the desktop sync problem, and I am sure that Shadow Plan can, too.

Interesting that you said Android. I would have said either Blackberry or iPhone, given that those two devices dominate the handheld market today. But whatever. Definitely the Palm OS is dead, and while the next generation Palm is supposed to be very innovative we have no idea whether at this late date Palm can make a dent in the Blackberry/iPhone dominance of the market.
